I just had my first ever night shift as a nursing student. And oh boyy ... it was such an experience!! Especially when you are assigned, ALONE. Yes, just one of me with non of my wardmates. It was a night of joy, splendid,(NOT)! Two Staff Nurses, an Assistant Nurse and a Student Nurse against 30 patients (which is equivalent to the world).
hehe.
We pushed a female patient out of her shared cubicle as she was getting out of control, so we had her stationed, along with the bed, out into the hallway right infront of the nurses station, just to keep an eye on her. Just that one lady, my hair ran out of place wildly, the veins in my eyes came popping out and my eardrums, they hurt! A doctor told us that when it's the fullmoon, you are expected to get patients like this. And yes, so ironic but true. The way she screeeeeaaammmmmed ... I just wanna run out of NUH and dig a hole so deep and bury myself in it. I'd rather sleep in the mortuary! That lasted for 5 solid hours. All the screaming and cursing and bulls*ittin.
*SIGHS*
Please God, not another night like that pleaseee ..

And when she was pushed down for close monitoring, I had to follow my SN and Dr, to push my patient's stuff down while they pushed the bed. The lift wasn't huge enough to just fit me and the loaded trolley in with them so I had to wait for another by myself. And by the time I got there, I got locked out. All were busy inside, they've forgotten me. This poor wrecked soul, so cold and afraid. 20 minutes seems like days! I kept pressing the bell throughout , in fear! haha. Then came this potter, who saved my fear. I was already suffocating by then. Upon entering, I was greeted by that same screeching voice. AGH! Ghastly! I even had to push another of my patient down for X-Ray. It was soo soo quiet. Made me feel like I was a living dead. And now it's time for me to get ready, to face another night.

So, I was out with Usop the whole of Friday, trying to look for Elfiza's birthday present, but to no avail.
Nonetheless, we spent so much quality time together. We ended the day with a surprise, hehe. My family saw us together!! ..great~ =p
The following day, which was Saturday, was sucha bomb! It was the day my girlfriends and I + our bfs gave Elfiza an advanced birthday surprise at the Istana Park. Our dear girlfriend almost wanted to tear, hehe. Then, we proceeded to Arab St. for some sheesha session. Most of the girls (including myself) are sheesha virgins, so it was something new! I looooove the scent of it! Strawberry and mixed fruits! So fruity! Well, like duh~

We lost a very close family friend. She's still young, yet she left us all. Very shocking lah. This incident brought me back to March 2003, when my one and only Busu had to go. =( Busu and Cik, I'm sure He loves you more. And, my prayers are with you. Friends, you never know when it's your turn ..
Went to school with Usop on Friday morning. Still trying to figure out what made me late .. poor Usop had to rush with me. haha. I'm sorry. Later that evening, we went to watch Silent Hill at, guess where?! Cathay Cineplex! It's so cool! $9.50 worth it for the plush seats. What a grand theatre. But then, Silent Hill sucked! It wasn't scary at all, pretty stupid lah. It cracked me up a bit but Usop said "I don't understand why the people are laughing, stupid" (something like that lah). ... but I was one of them who laughed too, does that mean I'm stupid as well? *sobs* . Guess he was pretty disappointed. Hey, you're not alone. =) Oh! The sound system was awesome. That, made me jump, not the movie. hee. Nonetheless, had a great night.
Can anyone get me a new mousepad, please? The one mom bought is such an irritant. It's too smooth, no, it's not smooth, it's not cooperating at all, no, i don't know. AND IT'S SO KENTAL! ADE DONALD DUCK! QUACK!
Watched R.V with family at Lot 1 lastnight. Oh boy, it's been a while already. My last movie there was Queen of the Damned. Years already! Lost my mood, my senses, getting old and cranky. BYE!
